BUONRIPOSO HERMITAGE
The Buonriposo Hermitage has been a reference point of Francesco's itinerary during Jubilee. Tradition tells that Saint Francesco founded the Hermitage in 1224. On the road from Verna to Porziuncola (little chapel built by Saint Francesco himself), he stopped for one month in Cittą di Castello, also creating miracles. There is also a water source coming from the Cedrone Mountain's at an altitude of 350 meters.
