Municipal Gallery

This collection is the second most important in Umbria, after that of the National Gallery in Perugia. It preserves masterpieces by Maestro da Castello, Luca Signorelli, Raffaello, Andrea and Giovanni Della Robbia, Ghiberti, Ghirlandaio, Raffaellino del Colle, Pomarancio, Santi di Tito, and it underlines the high pictorial and decorative quality of the work of Cristofano Gherardi and Cola dell'Amatrice from entering and including the staircase splendidly frescoed with rich and complex decorations in symbolic and commemorative style.
